Digital Product Passport by Kolla
By Kolla
Transform your product data into interactive, multilingual digital passports with Bluestone PIM’s Kolla extension — for compliance and brand growth.
Built on your single source of truth
DPP fields map to the PIM attributes you already govern, so the passport is a live view of your catalogue — not a second copy to reconcile.
Ready-made DPP templates
Predefined templates for batteries and textiles define the required fields, field groups, and access levels for each passport type. Install and map, rather than model from scratch.
Attribute mapping
Every DPP field is bound to an existing PIM attribute, so the passport reads and writes the same data your team already maintains.
Category-driven scope
Link a DPP group to a PIM category and every product in it is recognised automatically, with no per-product setup.
Digital Product Passport tab
A dedicated tab on the product details panel brings all required and optional passport information into one place.
Completeness at a glance
A live summary of completed required and optional fields shows how passport-ready each product is.
Clear gap flags
Every field is marked complete, missing, unmapped, or unavailable, so product owners know exactly what to fix.
Inline editing
Edit a value in the passport tab and it updates the mapped PIM attribute directly. The plugin keeps no separate copy of your product data.
Built for large passports
Search, filtering, and collapsible sections keep even lengthy passports easy to navigate.
Link & QR code
When a DPP page URL is available, the tab surfaces the link and a QR code, using your own DPP-QR image if present, or generating one. The passport page itself is hosted externally; Product Passport stores and surfaces its address.
Open by default
The mapped DPP structure is published as category metadata and available to other platform consumers via PAPI, so downstream systems and integrations can read the same passport shape.
Unambiguous by design
If no DPP group applies to a product, the tab says so. If more than one matches, it flags the configuration rather than guessing.
Template & mapping: A DPP template is installed as a product group and its fields are mapped to your PIM attributes. The group is linked to a PIM category that defines which products it applies to.
Live passport view: Opening the tab resolves the product's category to its DPP group, then combines the field definitions with the product's current attribute values, so nothing is duplicated.
Edit in place: Supported values are edited inline and written straight back to the mapped PIM attribute, so the passport and the catalogue never diverge.
Structure published outward: The mapped DPP structure is exposed as category metadata via PAPI, making the same passport shape available to integrations and downstream systems.
Get ahead of the DPP deadline
Batteries from February 2027, textiles close behind. Product Passport turns the catalogue you already own into passport-ready data, so compliance work rides on your existing PIM instead of a separate project.
One source of truth, enforced
Because the passport reads and writes live PIM attributes, there's no duplicate data to drift. What your team governs in PIM is what the passport shows.
Native to your PIM
DPP information lives inside the product record, not on an external platform, so teams work where they already are and the data stays under your governance.
