Bluestone PIM recognized as Vendor of Assurance by Ventana Research
With the release of Ventana Research's 2021 Product Information Management Value Index, Bluestone PIM receives recognition as a Vendor of Assurance. Ventana Research found the Bluestone PIM platform to be particularly effective in elevating customer experience in a digital sales setting.
The report is the distillation of over a year of market and product research efforts by Ventana Research. It is an assessment of how well vendors’ offerings will address buyers’ requirements for PIM software. The index is structured to replicate an RFI/RFP process by incorporating all criteria needed to evaluate, select, utilize and maintain technology, and maintain relationships with vendors.
The Value Index is designed to help professional buyers identify the best vendors for their Product Information Management needs. It provides specific numerical ratings, both overall and for each of the seven components of the Value Index, for technology buyers to consider. Five are product-experience related: Usability, Manageability, Reliability, Capability and Adaptability. In addition, the research team considered two customer-experience categories: Vendor Validation, and Total Cost of Ownership and Return on Investment (TCO/ROI). To assess functionality, one of the components of capability, Ventana Research applied its Value Index methodology and blueprint, which links the personas and processes for PIM to an organization’s requirements.
This is the first time that the company Bluestone PIM appears in Ventana Research's Value Index, however, it is not the first time for its team. Before the merger of 2018, Bluestone PIM's predecessor company WebOn was included in the Value Index, going back as far as 2012. This demonstrates both the continuity of the company's market presence and its progress.
