Definition: Best-of-Suite

What is best-of-suite?

Best-of-suite refers to a collection of software applications and services bundled together into an integrated all-in-one solution suite by a single vendor.

For example, a typical best-of-suite may include customer relationship management (CRM), content management system (CMS), product information management (PIM), and business intelligence applications all within one consolidated tech stack. The applications are designed to interoperate seamlessly together with shared data models, standardized workflows, integrated reporting, and common services like analytics and security tools.

This is different from a best-of-breed approach where applications are selected individually from different vendors based on their strengths in specific functions.
